Free ride to holiday bliss

The Seefeld region is launching a completely new kind of mobility offensive on 01 June 2023: anyone who travels to the region in an environmentally friendly way by train or FlixBus will have their travel costs reimbursed by the tourism association. That's right! Holidaymakers on the plateau can have their travel costs reimbursed up to € 150.00 per person (children up to 15 years: € 75.00) if they book at least 5 overnight stays in the holiday period 01.06. - 30.11.2023, either online at www.seefeld.com or directly with the accommodation. The travel allowance is valid until the budget of € 60,000.00 is used up, but at the latest by the end of November. Applications are possible as of now.
This may only be done via www.seefeld.com or directly via the Parkhotel Seefeld (reservations via booking platforms such as booking.com, HRS and similar as well as package tours are excluded from the refund).
Train tickets (of all railway companies, regardless of whether ÖBB, DB, WESTbahn, SBB, Trenitalia etc.) and FlixBus tickets are reimbursed up to an amount of € 150.00 per paying adult and € 75.00 per paying child up to 15 years. Annual season tickets, monthly tickets (in short: all forms of tickets that were NOT purchased exclusively for public travel to and from our region) are excluded from reimbursement. Special costs, such as luggage service, are also not refunded.
Our guests register via this online formafter booking accommodation and tickets and in any case BEFORE they start their holiday. After checking all submitted documents, they will receive a confirmation of the amount to be refunded after 3-5 working days. The earlier the registration and application, the higher the chances of getting the money back - applications are processed according to the date of submission.
After arrival, guests can collect the money in cash at the respective information office of the holiday resort upon presentation of the following documents: photo ID of the applicant, booking confirmation which includes all persons on holiday, guest cards for all persons to whom money is refunded and the complete ticket documents. After checking these documents, the corresponding amount will be paid out.

Our Seefeld region therefore entices you away from the car and towards using the train and bus. With the "PlateauCard" you can also travel free of charge on the public transport system during your holiday in the Seefeld region: this guest card is the new mobility guarantee in credit card format or digital and is valid as a ticket for public transport in the region. Simply show the PlateauCard in all Regio buses or on the train (train: Seefeld-Scharnitz route) - to all the information.

The Arlberg tunnel is currently closed to all traffic until probably 06.10.2023. Drivers must use the Arlberg Pass as a detour. Rail traffic is not affected by the closure.
